What good is a sitter that you can’t get a hold of? That’s what we figured when we drummed up the idea to give out Jonah Hill’s actual cell phone number.
We concepted and designed an interactive campaign for the 20th Century Fox film, The Sitter, starring Jonah Hill.
Using wild postings, college campus flyers, and banner ads we distributed Jonah Hill’s ACTUAL phone number offering his services as the world’s worst sitter.
Jonah took calls live on his BlackBerry, and recorded crude and comical voicemail messages that played when he wasn’t answering.
Result: almost 500,000 phone calls.
